Properties of larvikite:
Also known as Mystic Merlinite or even Norwegian Blue Moonstone, this stone can pleasantly surprise with indigo hues in the light of the Sun or the Moon. The rock is characterized by a particular iridescence due to the presence of albite micro-crystals placed to create a luminosity tending towards blue so that the color of the rock is particularly influenced by this phenomenon: the mineral itself is greyish in colour, but with the iridescence can come to have bright blue tones.
